The Dead Pixels Society attended the 2022 PRO Spring Convention March 17-18 in Lincolnshire, Ill. The event drew dealers and vendors together for two days of networking, learning, and sharing. The PRO Distributors section of the organization announced several new distributor arrangements, including Laowa lenses, Nomatic bags, and VSGO products. These expansions build in PRO’s recent announcements for adding Olympus cameras and VITEC products. Breakout session topics included film photography, shipping/logistics, building an employment brand, marketing and shopping local.

The conference program featured a keynote general session by Carrie Schochet, founder of Purple Squirrel Advisors, on “Creative Strategies for Attracting Talent in a Competitive Hiring Environment.”Below is a video showing some vendor highlights and attendee viewpoints.
